Hello. I am Naomaru Itoi, a.k.a. Nao.


One day, for some reason, I decided to create a homepage that explains who I am. It needs a lot more work, but probably serves the purpose of introducing me.

I play sports a lot.
I like Asian food a lot.

Here's my bio with pictures, in a reverse chronological order.

2003/6: We've finished a project, and had a party.
2002/11: After one year's work, I was promoted to an architect. I design software.
2002/10: Visitted Japan in Thanksgiving Weekend.
2001/11: I started working as a researcher in a company called ActivCard in Fremont, CA. I research and develop software.
2001/8 My sister#1 got married in Germany, so we all went down there to cerebrate.
2001/5: I received Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Michigan.
2001/2: I started working as a technical staff at Sun Microsystems in Menlo Park, CA.
1999/2: We went down to Purdue University to give a talk on smartcards.
1998/8: I visited Nagoya to see friends. We went to Meiji Mura.
1998/5: I received M.E.
1996/9: I entered M.E. in Computer Science at the University of Michigan.
1996/3: I received B.S. in Computer Science from Nagoya University.
