Subject: the CHUNK list makes a quick update...

me again...

a correction on the on-line chat from todd@icu.com: A few corrections to your
last post...
1.  Jack McCook has still not gotten back to me, so I'm assuming he will
_not_ be on.  I told Matt that I was trying to get him on, and he
mistakenly took this to be that I had actually gotten him to come on.
2.  The show will air every _six_ hours.  11:15AM and and 5:15PM every day
for a week, then also at 4:15PM the following monday.  It will also be on
demand eventually, but I'll have to let you know when.

also, CHUNK in the news, from jchamber@niu.edu:  In the summer 
of 95, Option magazine printed an article about Portastatic and other 
solo projects.  I can't remember the exact issue, but it was a pretty 
good article about the whole DIY lo-fi thing.  Also, Option also did a 
story on Superchunk...I think they tried to draw some parallels between 
Mac and Kurt Cobain!  Additionally, in the current issue of Spin, there 
is a short bit about Superchunk's Durham benefit show and how Mac 
dislikes Sen. Jesse Helms.  A picture of Mac yelping away and Jim on 
stage is included.
