In short

nylon is a proxy server, developed on OpenBSD. It supports SOCKS version 4 and 5, as well as a mirror mode so that services can be mirrored directly.

• nylon 1.21 (2006-07-19) Changes include SOCKS4a and tor-resolve (from hondza) as well as a few bugfixes.
• nylon 1.2 (2003-06-08) Changes include options to enable only SOCKS 4 or SOCKS 5, respect CFLAGS from user in build process plus a number of small changes and improvements.
• Deprecated nylon 1.1

• Deprecated nylon 1.0 Complete rewrite, now uses libevent.
