Related Experience:

As the rental scheduler/supervisor position noted above I took over for Dan Hays for three months while his wife had their 2^nd child and I was responsible for scheduling and coordinating with clients and organizations within the school the safe and professionally handled usage of various rooms in two to three different buildings on campus. I would also personally supervise the crew and the facility to ensure a safe and efficient event for the client.

I am familiar with many sound editing and sound cueing programs including, Pro Tools, Sound Forge, Acid Pro, Cool Edit Pro, and SFX as well as analog and digital soundboards. I have worked dozens of rentals at Portland Community College for about four years (fall 02 – winter 07). I have filled every position possible working these jobs. I have done: Light Design, Light Board Op., Sound Board Op., Rigging, Follow Spot, Stage Crew, Stage Manager, and Supervisor.

I was also involved in work/study at the Portland Community College Scene Shop under Malina Rodriguez for the same period of time (fall 02 – spring 05). I am experienced in and thoroughly enjoy running all kinds of power-tools. I have lots of experience welding and operating heavy machines like a Genie man-lift and a scissors-lift.
