beauty and the street
moblogging, march 2005
every now and then i give thought to moblogging, setting up my phone account
to easily transfer my pictures to myself and posting them somewhere on my
site easily. then i realize how little i like the picture quality and
voila, that idea goes out the window.
pics in the above moblog collage (want a larger version?):
i think i may snap some more pics with my camera, so keep an eye peeled
for the next batch. what i need to do is investigate a better camera
phone for the job ... perhaps a SE 800 series? (it simply needs to
be a global GSM phone and work with my current account ... maybe i will
get an unlocked phone on an upcoming trip, one with a better camera.)
- first row: we saw the
elephant vanishes at the UMS, i guess way back in october. my how
the winter has canceled my perception of time. second pic: a fine autumn
evening from our offices, ann arbor downtown facing west. third and fourth
pics: vacuum shopping for beth's birthday (her idea, not mine).
- second row: that's
mean, by francesco pittau. i took the picture to remember the name of
the book, found in the SFO museum of modern art book store. wedding
invite 1 (the style we're leaning towards), two (the silver ink on black)
and three (a distant third). still uncommitted.
- third row: a dress at cache that
beth liked for a friend who will be attending our wedding (she wound up
going with something else). spent the day at the toledo
ohio orchestra family series, this one was called "play ball!".
performers filing in, and then the two mud hen mascots, muddy and
madonna, get some time on the stage.
- fourth row: muddy and madonna hamming it up on-stage. last two pics:
new ann arbor restaurant, miss saigon. our spring roll appetizers with
peanut sauce, and my vietnamese crepe (yum!). fantastic food, great
owner (met him at a mamnon event),
easy to get to. we're going back.
