beauty and the street
meijer flowers (3)

another desert flower found at the meijer gardens' greenhouse. these were
so much smaller in person, but i think they need to be much, much bigger
here.
i've been mucking around a lot in python lately, and loving it. it's a
fun, easy to use and powerful language to explore a number of things.
in a nutshell, it gets out of my way and i can actually get work done.
if you're just learning python, you'll want to have a look at
charming python,
a series of articles presented on the IBM developerworks site (another
useful resource). simply useful stuff.
one of the things i need to start exploring is PyObjC, the
python-Objective C bindings. they have cocoa available from python,
so i can work on some code (ie an RSS reader i can stand on OS X ...)
