mydoom ... vthrottle .. feedster
feedster chose ISD as its site of the
day today. what a nice thing to wake up to.
ISD has proven especially useful as things like mydoom, blaster, and
other large scale events have occurred. having a flood of info from
sources all over the world managaed makes my life easier; it's good
to see it's useful for other people, too.
released a much more stable version of vthrottle on
sunday. thanks to everyone who helped me test it, improve it with
suggestions, and debug a threading
problem. folks, things like vthrottle will help you keep this sort
of activity to a minimum. please start looking at smarter techniques.
this version also adds "vmeasure", which can be used to generate a
nice whitelist for you.
