looking to see if the source code is available, this could be useful for a project i'm exploring.
sandboxie, a simple storage write buffer. not quite sure how it works, it looks like it just sandboxes a program. this could be useful for malware analysis, if they don't detect the methods used to sandbox (and if the technology properly buffers writes).
Programming Optimization, a neat page discussing some of the ways to optimize code correctly. i don't write ASM, so i doubt that any ASM i write could be faster than the compiler's optimizations.

looks like they finally wised up. google's been half-assing a lot of their new stuff lately, for a couple of years now. hopefully they'll go back and fix stuff.
Cuban is not crazy, where om malik and several others note that google's likelihood of buying YouTube is lower than most people think, despite news to the contrary. why in the world would google buy something they already have, even if it is better and more liked by the community? why would they risk the copyright lawsuits, even if they do have some success in defending against them? a box of chainsaws ... buying YouTube, despite it's obvious love by the world and such, is like sticking your hand in a box of chainsaws. you'll get eaten alive by the lawsuits.

update: and yet they're doing the deal.
