In the wishbone of the sky
brown leaves, grass, branches
welcome waterslide sunray

creeks wet the driveways
puddles of sunlight 
converging on the clouds
on low roads
last goodbyes
snowmen and
short days

just below
wallpapered with the sun
sprinkled with crystal balls
showing open scripts
