1. Why did my message not go through to the list?Check the following settings in your mail program: Make sure that you are not sending signature files or replies as attachments. Make sure that your outgoing messages are set to be sent as "plain text" not "HTML."Make sure your message did not quote unnecessarily long headers or messages. Perhaps your message was an article or piece of information that was already posted. An effort is made to prevent the same information from being posted multiple times. Also, check that your message was not a for sale list or request. Those are filtered out and should only be sent to mworld@mlist.org. Finally, be sure you are sending mail to the right address: madonna@mlist.org Do not send mail to any address with "owner" in it. Instead of replying directly to a digest, try typing in the correct address yourself. If you sent a message to "madinfo@mlist.org" it will not be posted anywhere. That email address does not exist, and if you send a message to it your message will not go through to the Madonna listserv. 2. Why am I not receiving mail anymore?What often happens is that you leave for a few days and your mailbox fills up, or there is a problem with your server. In that case, mail will begin bouncing back to mlist.org, and the list server may unsubscribe you. Go to http://www.mlvc.org/lists/ and resubscribe.If you receive a message that you are already subscribed, the list could be down for some reason. If you are subscribed to the list, wait a day and see if you start to receive mail again. 3. When I try to subscribe, I send the authorization code, but I cannot subscribe.You are probably sending your mail to the wrong address. Read your instructions carefully, and try again.
