The return home. The previous night Jen and I went to see Zwan at the Metro. Zwan was pretty good, but I really liked the opening band Dead Meadow. They're a new band with a cd coming out on Matador Records in May, they said. They sound like modern indie kids fed a steady diet of Black Sabbath and old Metallica. Very cool.

Today I pulled myself out of bed and dragged my butt through Chicago morning traffic (which wasn't as bad as I had expected) back to Ann Arbor and straight to work.
