I was getting ready to head into work today when Gretchen gave me a call. She was off to go rollerblading and invited me along. It was too cold to go for a serious bike ride, but I could definitely cruise along at rollerblader speed and soak up some sun. It was so gorgeous that the two extra hours spent away from work were completely justified.

Many other people had the same idea, so the paths were crowded, but not unbearable. As usual, the worst part of it were people with dogs who let the wander all over: their leashes blocking off the entire path. Sigh. No matter, the sun and air made me feel so good.

Here you can see dozen's of little suns that greeted me as I walked into the office. The blinds were acting as a series of pinhole camera. Yay science!
