AMD64 large memory issue

FYI -

I just updated my source tree from cvs a few minutes ago and built a new
bsd and bsd.mp.  This includes Jason and Toby's commits since
Thursday night.  Still having issues on a Sun v40z with 4 processors and
16G of RAM.
