iomega zip mount trouble

I've been trying to mount my zip drive (ide) under OpenBSD-3.1-stable 
for the past two night to no avail.  It mounted just great under 
freebsd. I am using the following command (directory under /mnt/zip):

mount_msdos /dev/sd0d /mnt/zip.  (yes, I'e tried sd0a-z)  The error I 
recieve is "device not configured".  Very strange... any insight 
would be most appreciated.
