Laptop

Hi

I am in process on choosing a laptop for a OpenBSD or FreeBSD only Setup.
I found two laptops which may fit my needs (dell inspiron 4000 and
compaq presario 1400-xl-250). Can someome confirm that *BSD runs on one of 
these or which one may be better (OS Support for HW) for this purpose ???
