ICP Vortex (GDT) again

I know this has come up before, but I'm trying to install OpenBSD on
my new server machine, with an ICP Vortex RAID controller. I know
that OpenBSD has support for this card, but unfortunately, it doesn't
have support in the default 2.7 boot/install floppy. The solution
that was proposed earlier on this list was to use a 2.7 snapshot
floppy to do it. Unfortunately, I can't find that snapshot on any of
the distribution sites. I tried the 2.8 snapshot, and it doesn't seem
to detect the ICP Vortex drive. Any sugestions (other than ones
involving trying to install another drive; I know it's easy to do, but
I don't know how and I don't trust myself to do it)? Does anyone know
how to build a custom 2.7 install floppy, with this driver on it? I
would very gladly pay consulting fees to anyone who wants to do this
little task for me.

Btw, if anyone on the OpenBSD team needs one of those ICP cards to do
some work on, buy it and send me the bill. I'm serious.

Thanks,

e
