Greetings,
I'm trying to get OpenBSD 2.7 booting on a VAIO PCG-C1X. At present
FreeBSD's BTX and LILO both work on this machine, but biosboot has problems.
Here's a by-hand paste of biosboot's output after I rebuilt -current's
``src/sys/arch/i386/stand'' w/ DEBUG and BIOS_DEBUG enabled:
boot>
booting fd0a:/bsd.old: devopen: BIOS: fd0a:/bsd.old
BIOS geometry: heads=2, s/t=18; EDD=-1
loading disklabel @ 1
biosd_io(reading, f000ff53,0,0,1,1,0xf9ac)
(0,0,1,1)@0xf9ac
BIOS error 0x20101 ()
BIOS error 0x20101 ()
BIOS error 0x20101 ()
BIOS error 0x20101 ()
BIOS error 0x20101 ()
=0x20101()

failed(87). will try /bsd
boot>
The floppy drive I'm booting off of is a USB device, w/ BIOS emulation enabled.
As stated, the machine is a Sony PCG-C1X ``PictureBook'', w/ 64 MB of RAM, and
a Pentium 266 (IIRC). Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.
Alexander
