APM: "unrecognized device ID"?



When I do "shutdown -hp now" or "halt -p", I get the following warning:
Attempting to power down...
apm0: APM set power state: unrecognized device ID (9)

The system does power down, but what does the message mean?

The system is an Asus P2B with the latest BIOS.  I cvs up'ed the source
and rebuilt yesterday, so everything should be up to date.
