NIS and xdm

Hi

No NIS users can log into my openbsd (NIS client) running xdm.  If I dont
run xdm, it works fine.

I have looked around, and I understand other people have had the same
problem, but I have not yet found a solution to the problem.

System :
OpenBSD 2.5 - sparc

I appreciate any help.
