ATAPISCSI CD audio

Hi,

I can't get audio out of my ATAPISCSI CD-ROM when using xmcd.

atapiscsi0(pciide0:0:0): using PIO mode 4, DMA mode 2 (using DMA data transfers) scsibus0 at atapiscsi0: 2 targets
pciide0:0:0: dmamode timed out
atapiscsi0: transfer error, downgrading to PIO mode 4
atapiscsi0(pciide0:0:0): using PIO mode 4
cd0 at scsibus0 targ 0 lun 0: <HITACHI, DVD-ROM GD-2500, A011> SCSI0 5/cdrom removable

$ uname -a
OpenBSD hermes 2.5 HERMES#14 i386
Aug 3, 1999 cvs update

xmcd-2.3 from ports
$ ls -l /usr/ports/distfiles/xmcd-2.3.tar.gz
-rw-r--r--  1 kstailey  wheel  449975 May 25  1998 /usr/ports/distfiles/xmcd-2.3.tar.gz

$ xmcd
CD audio: SCSI command fault on /dev/rcd0c:
Opcode=0x1a Status=0x3
[console log goes:
cd0(atapiscsi0:0:0): Check Condition on opcode 28
    SENSE KEY: Illegal Request
               Incorrect Length Indicator Set
     ASC/ASCQ: Illegal Mode For This Track
]
(X11 dialog says "Device /dev/rcd0c is not SCSI-2 compliant)
(this is probably due to ATAPISCSI "SCSI Version 0" weirdness)
(press play)
CD audio: SCSI command fault on /dev/rcd0c:
Opcode=0x42 Status=0x3
(repeats until you press stop)

The ATAPISCSI cd setup has no problem mounting ISO 9660 CD-ROMs
The acd driver had no problems with xmcd using this drive.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Ken
