Hi all,
I am interested in OpenBSD/pmax. After reading the docmounts on the
http://www.openbsd.org . I still have several problems. Could any one give
me some informations. Our machines aree DECstation/5133 and 5240.
1. Does OpenBSD/pmax solve the y2k problem?
2. The web shows "OpenBSD supports binary emulation of most binaries from
SVR4 (Solaris), FreeBSD, Linux, BSDI, SunOS, and HPUX."
Does it mean I can use above OS's packages on OpenBSD/pamx
with DECstation/5133 , 5240 ?(Ex:Netscape? ,packages for ULTRIX?
,packages for HPUX ...)
3. Could anyone give me any instance about DECsation/5133 5240 running
OpenBSD? How about the performance ?
4. Does M$ Frontpage's UNIX extension can run under OpenBSD/pmax?
I want to find several reasions to change our ULTRIX to OpenBSD.
Thanks for your reply! ^_^
