Hi:
I've got Openbsd 2.1 running on my Micron Millennia. It all seems ok
except for the mouse. The pointer works, but the buttons are working
strangely. You can cut (using the left button) and paste (using the
emulated middle button), but ANY mouse click pastes the last cut thing
into the current window. Also, the click to focus/mouse focus is
random, as in it will switch between the two more or less at will,
changing on random mouse clicks. xmseconfig reports that any click is
the middle button, so it isn't unexpected. I couldn't configure X using
XF86Setup, since the mouse was unusable, so just to test, I copied the
XF86Config file from the Linux partition. I know the hardware is ok,
because it works under Linux.
An unrelated issue is that I installed Linux (RedHat 4.2) first, and
then Openbsd. Openbsd seemed to understand the partition table, but
when I installed it I could never get it to boot. I then installed
Openbsd (rewriting the partition table using fdisk) and that worked
fine, then installed Linux, including LILO, and that works. For
whatever reason, Openbsd can't use a partition table written by Linux,
but Linux can use the table from Openbsd. We have Netbsd on another
machine, and we could never get it to coexist with any other OS,
regardless of order of installation, so Openbsd is at least better than
that...
