mklogin.conf is not part of /etc.  duh.
Add more warnings about not unpacking etc38.tgz, xetc38.tgz in along
with other *.tgz files, Chris Linn was VERY insistent upon that, though
I rejected his suggestion of making it blood-red and using <blink>. ;)
