DESCR is copied directly from the git README. It's their own jab, not mine (:
README also says "git" stands for "goddamn idiotic truckload of sh*t".
As for the port, jolan@ sent me a bunch of feedback and some diffs and
stuff. I'll resend an updates port tomorrow once I've incorporated his
changes and looked at an issue he pointed out regarding includes.
