gdk-pixbuf-csource error in controlpanel2

I hope this is the right list for this matter, if not sorry for the noise.

I'm trying to build gnome 2.10 from ports on a machine running -current
(i386). However there seems to be a problem with gdk-pixbuf-csource when
building controlcenter2.

Making all in control-center

It looks like gdk-pixbuf-csource isn't handling png files as it should.
Does anyone have a solution or any ideas on how to solve this? I've
googled, but not come up with anything useful.
