PostgreSQL and plperl

Forgive me if I haven't done enough homework--and pointers to FMs are 
most welcome--but is there any chance of a quick-n-easy way to get 
plperl to work with PostgreSQL? I can get by with plpgsql, but I'd 
prefer Perl....

$ uname -a && pkg_info -I postgresql && ls
