switching python ports to 2.3

Hi!

We are currently preparing to switch the python module to python 2.3.
This will not affect ports like mailman or zope that don't use the
module. If you want any corresponding port to stay with python 2.2 or
2.1, please mail me and xavier_(_at_)_santolaria_(_dot_)_net_(_dot_)_
