root:bin vs. root:wheel

I think I notice a small inconsistency. Sometimes a port will
install its binaries owned by root:wheel . As per bsd.own.mk,
however, most of the ports install correctly as root:bin .

It is only the rare occasion that I notice this, but I thought it
worth mentioning anyway... Is this inconsequential, or is this
something that should be fixed?

A few ports that do this... There are others too, but these are
the ones popping into my head presently ;)

print/gv:
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 266240 Sep 18 23:46 bin/gv

x11/xautolock:
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 28672 Sep 17 13:15 bin/xautolock

net/ntp:
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 33691 Sep 27 22:07 sbin/ntp-genkeys
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 1019 Sep 27 22:07 sbin/ntp-wait
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 302749 Sep 27 22:07 sbin/ntpd
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 64099 Sep 27 22:07 sbin/ntpdate
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 85609 Sep 27 22:07 sbin/ntpdc
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 91227 Sep 27 22:07 sbin/ntpq
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 68371 Sep 27 22:07 sbin/ntptimeset
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 49731 Sep 27 22:07 sbin/ntptrace
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root wheel 34131 Sep 27 22:07 sbin/tickadj

FWIW, ntp's files do not get stripped either...
Perhaps individual maintainers should be notified if applicable to
their ports..?
