Change into the directory for the package you want to build (e. g.
base3) and run make. Don't use KDE2, if possible, since it will
disappear soon I think.
If you want to have most of KDE3 in one turn, choose a "high level"
package that has dependencies on all the others. For instance you could
do the following:
$ cd /usr/ports/x11/kde/base3 && make && make install
and you will have a pretty good working KDE3 on your computer. Then you
can add other packages (toys3, office3,...) as well.
This, of course, is MY way how to do it, others will certainly vary.
