kdeinit garbles proctitle

Anybody noticed that kdeinit sometimes overwrites it's proctitle with
garbage?

$ ps xo 'pid comm args' | grep 1805
 1805 kdeinit          \^F\M-y\M-i\M--,\M^T\M-0\M-{ \M-v\f\^Ul(\^BO\M-(\M^K\M^@

The process itself seems to be alive and well:

I only use konqueror out of all KDE.
