patching so we don't need gmake

Hello,
Is it worthwhile to provide patches to a port so we don't need to use
gmake anymore? I've made a small patch for audio/id3ed so it doesn't
require it anymore. But this would then be the first patch for this
port.

Also, since we now use make all the way, we can use BINMODE and the
like. Should this also be patched in the ports Makefile or should I add
a do-install: target in the master Makefile?

I've attached a diff with the changes.

The complete port can be found at: http://web.wanadoo.be/wamc3407/
