why mc is not work in misc/mc ?
It's marked BROKEN ... due to security issues.
Just comment out the BROKEN line and it will build. On
a single-user machine the issues are (correct me if I'm wrong)
not consequential. They revolve around MC executing your
commands by writing a file mildly insecurely and then executing
the file.
