Basically, I've stood up and called myself a package person for 2.5.
I said that I wasn't going to get through the same trouble for 2.6, I made
that perfectly clear to Bruno, Brad and Chris right after 2.5, so that someone
else could take at least a large part of it.
Chris has not been completely alone for 2.6. Brad has been building packages
as well, I don't know IF they showed up as his own creation on ftp, but he's
built quite a set of sparc packages. I've been feeding Chris patches for
troubles he was encountering, or even for trouble he had not encountered
yet. Likewise, Bruno has been performing some systematic checks,
like addresses and things like that.
This is definitely not as it should be, there should be more people working
on that. I don't care for *my* credit, but do give at least Brad & Bruno
some credit.
I'm all for enforcing stricter rules for >2.6.
