Hi...
I've just upgraded my Powerbook G4 to the latest macppc snapshot and now I have
a problem booting.
Under openfirwware, I type the following :
boot hd:,ofwboot /bsd
It starts fine (as it always did for the last 10 months), the kernel gets loaded
_but_ it looks like it does not find the harddrive. I'm stuck with:
bootpath: '/pci_(_at_)_f4000000/ata-6_(_at_)_d/disk_(_at_)_0/bsd'
boot device: lookup 'wd0a failed'.
root device:
However, I can boot fine under Mac OS X, so the harddrive is here and working.
I tried reading the console output while booting and indeed, I did not see any
reference to wd0.
I know I can try installing an older snapshot and it _should_ temporarily
resolve the issue, but I just wanted to know if other people experienced the
same to know if it comes from my setup or from a bug.
Regards,
Antoine
