Thanks for the answers guys. Unfortunatelly as I said I am not gonna
be able to try this until monday.
Let me tell you something else about my scp problem:
I tried scp between an openbsd 3.6-patches (different hardware) and
a linux machine. And I got a 8.8Mb/s of throughput.
