Hi all,
I am getting the following error when trying to install the new clamav port
checking for zlib installation... /usr
configure: error: The installed zlib version may contain a security bug.
Please upgrade to 1.2.2 or later: http://www.zlib.net. You can omit this
check with --disable-zlib-vcheck but DO NOT REPORT any stablility issues
then!
*** Error code 1
Stop in /usr/ports/security/clamav (line 1700 of
/usr/ports/infrastructure/mk/bsd.port.mk).
I followed these intructions to upgrade the ports tree from 3.6 release
#setenv CVSROOT anoncvs_(_at_)_anoncvs_(_dot_)_ca_(_dot_)_openbsd_(_dot_)_org:/cvs
#cd /usr
#cvs -q get -P ports/infrastructure/db/user.list
#cvs -q get -P ports/security/clamav
#cd ports/security/clamav
#make install
There doesnt seem to be anything in the 3.6 patches relating to zlib.
I am still trying to come to grips with how to follow the stable branch
so I have been applying relevant patches on production machines.
This machine has no patches applied as yet
Any assistance appreciated.
Steve
