Hi,
i'd like to know if you can help me with my OpenBSD installed in maxtor hdd
120GB.
When i was working with my OpenBSD i heard some stranges noises in maxtor hdd
and when I rebooted the system I could only read:
Loading
An nothing happens...
Later I rebooted with my cdrom OpenBSD 3.5 CD and choose: Shell, and there i
wrote fdisk and my partitions were not correct.
It happened the same to me long time ago with a debian linux system, in that
case i used knoppix until I could see my partitions again, and then i did a
chroot and lilo again and all works... (i didn't choose now fdisk -u wd1
because i'm afraid to crash the system forever...). wd1 is my OpenBSD disk.
But in this case... I don't know to make work my OpenBSD.
I read the faq in www.openbsd.org and the instructions in there didn't work.
Yesterday when i try to boot my OpenBSD again i receive this message:
boot:
booting hd0a:/bsd:4792948|
and then:
booting hd0a:/bsd:4792948readtext:unknown error:code 94
Later it tries to boot /obsd but it doesn't work..
Do you know what's the problem? any solution?
Thanks.
tronss
