Hi,
I fixed my earlier problems with color.
I have now done a cvs checkout -P -r OPENBSD_3_5 src
but I am a bit non-plussed by the instructions on
http://www.openbsd.org/anoncvs.html#starting where it states the
following
First, start out by `get'-ing an initial tree:
# setenv CVSROOT anoncvs_(_at_)_anoncvs_(_dot_)_ca_(_dot_)_openbsd_(_dot_)_org:/cvs
# cd /usr
# cvs -q get -rOPENBSD_3_5 -P src
Anytime afterwards, to `update' this tree:
(If you are following the patch branch for 3.5):
# cd /usr/src
# cvs -q up -rOPENBSD_3_5 -Pd
The thing I dont quite understand. After I have checked out the patch
branch do i really need to do cvs -q get -rOPENBSD_3_5 -P src? I mean I
allready have it checked out....shouldnt I just do a # cvs -q up
-rOPENBSD_3_5 -Pd???
As this question might reveal, I'm not quite sure I grasp the whole
concept here.
Thanks
