Hi,
Right now I've a TV cable (384/64kb) connection at home. The connection is
made with an ethernet modem, connected to a lan interface of an openbsd gate
(the gate running openbsd is a soekris net4801 box).
My maximum download rate is about 36/37 kb.
What speed do you use in the PRIQ parent queue if you are not using
percentages?
Do you use the actual download rate like?
altq on $ext_if priq bandwidth 37kb queue {xyz}
or
Do you use 384kb (which I actually never have)?
altq on $ext_if priq bandwidth 384kb queue {xyz}
or
what speed?
...I've been waiting for my dsl connection for about 5 month now, so i still
hope I will get it one day. It will be a 2mb/192kb connection, so I would
really like to now how to set the bandwith speed in an altq rule.
Many thanks
