Hmm, ... shame on me, it works now ;-)

I have another question when using a multiprocessor kernel (in 3.6 with
GENERIC.MP) I 
Would like to "make build" with multiple jobs running.
I tried "make -j8 build" or "make build -j8" for example but it doesn't
build than.
What's the trick?
