"spontaneous" freezes in i386-CURRENT

I was running OpenBSD i386-CURRENT as firewall / NAT machine behind a cablemodem happily up until about four weeks ago, updating kernel and userland regularly. Then, shortly after the version changed to 3.6 in -current, strange things started to happen. After only a few hours running normaly, the machine would just freeze. No reaction to keystrokes on the console (just the blinking cursor, as if nothing happened), no answer to pings. Nothing. Dead. Silent. Only a hard reset could bring it back. After which i looked at all the logfiles: Nothing, no entry, no trace of anything. After the reboot, and filesystem checks, the machine would run again for a few hours, and then again: Freeze! I thought (without any hard evidence), this might be something with the network card and exchanged it. Wrong. Still the same. After some hours: Freeze. OK, maybe I mixed up something in /etc during upgrading. So I reinstalled the snapshot-release from (around) september 12 from scratch, edited p!
f.conf etc. for my needs. But: No luck. Still: Freeze after some hours. So I went back to 3.5-RELEASE, installed this from scratch, without any patching. And now it looks as if the problems are gone, the machine runs perfeclty, as far as i can tell. Anyone else with a similar experience? I add my actual dmesg from the setup that works again:
