Unfortunately, the use of FTP results in everybody else on the 'Net
being able to access that user's home directory, too.
Which is worse:
o letting properly authorized users have standard access to your
system as it's designed, the same way people have had access on Unix
systems for three decades;
o or letting everybody on the planet have access to all your users'
private files?
