Yes, you are 100% right. Thank you.
I use OpenBSD on my bridges because of it's pf. The rest of my network
servers are powered by FreeBSD. Server, desktop, whatever else, you should
not choose your "favorite OS" for this tasks, you should choose
"suitable OS". So this way OpenBSD is not suitable for 802.11g cards.
