There are are some strong tranquilizers available, called "streamers".
The most beautiful sound on earth is the sound of a rewinding tape after
a successful backup/verify.
BTW: is this tread supposed to become a nostalgic unix thread, a nostalgic
bsd thread or a nostalgic openbsd thread?
For openbsd, I tried some early 2.* version some years ago. Not very
exciting -- it installed smoothely, but it missed some "features"
that time. I did an upgrade from, say, 2.5. to 2.8 -- took some hours,
but still missed some features I need (don't ask me *what* features,
I just can't remember). Nowadays, I'm test-running 3.5, it's missing
nearly nothing, I'm just stuck on my UUCP requirements. That will be
fixed within two or three weekends.
Ciao,
Kili
