Unless you happen to be stuck with a vax/mvme88k/hppa (static only) then
recompile these base programs.

gnu/usr.bin/cvs
libexec/spamd-setup
usr.bin/compress
usr.bin/grep
usr.bin/ssh
usr.sbin/ppp
