well, it's working so far.
dmesg just told nothing because there was a problem with the pci-slot.

fxtv starts now. but it stays black and kernel tells:

Direct Video not supported by visual...using XImages

i first thought it could be because i set DISPLAY to an XDarwin-server.
but even if i use the local x-server it's the same.

should i try another appliction but fxtv?
