Someone (mark espie perhaps?) long around, around the 2.8 time
frame, offered that a truss type of command wouldn't be hard for
him to whip up.
The advantage of that being the "seeing live" aspect of the command
where ktrace can make a rapidly growing file in some cases (and
I've had guys not turn off or know HOW to turn off a ktrace - their
fault, but my problem).
I wonder how feasable it would be at this point?
The common usage is "truss named -f", for example.
