Getting Started Using Anonymous CVS

According to 

http://www.openbsd.org/anoncvs.html#starting

It says that people who own the CD may have seen the
CVS/ dirs on it. I don't. I think that is why 

# cd /mnt; pax -rw CVS Makefile [a-z]* /usr/src

isn't working.

I'm trying to bring my installation from Release to
Stable. I'm new to linux and OpenBSD so be gentle. Any
help would be appreciated. Thanks.
