From misc_(_at_)_openbsd_(_dot_)_org:
Seems that recent changes to AMD64 bsd.rd (-current) makes it crash during boot on mothboards using the K8T800 chipset.
The last lines are as follows;
uvm_fault(0xfffffffffffffff806sdfgdg, 0xa0a000, 0, 2) -> e
fatal page fault in supervisor mode
trap type 6 code 2 rip ffffffff80100685 cs 8 rflags 10286 cr 2 a0a570 cpl crsffffffff808a4e40
syncing disks... done
Yes, the amd64 boot media is broken in a currently unknown way. It is being looked at.
Not only with the AMD64, but with the I386 CD on a Dell Precision M50:
wd0: no disk label
root on rd0a
rootdev=0x1100 rrootdev=0x2f00 rawdev=0x2f02
uvm_fault(0xd0546640, 0x0, 0, 1) -> e
fatal page fault in supervisor mode
trap type 6 code 0 eip d02cbb68 cs 8 eflags 10202 cr2 0 cpl 0
panic: trap type 6, code=0, pc=d02cbb68
syncing disks... done
dumping to dev 1101, offset 0
dump error 19
Good luck!
