Does macppc support multiple virtual consoles?

Hey all--
I'm trying to settle an argument.  A friend of mine swears up and down 
that OpenBSD/macppc supports multliple virtual consoles, but I can't 
find anything conclusive online.

If it does, can someone point me to some documentation, and if it 
doesn't, reply and tell me that my friend is an idiot
